Second-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas knocked off Serbia's Dusan Lajovic 7-6 (5), 6-2 on Friday to advance to the semifinals of the Hamburg Open in Germany.
Tsitsipas was trailing 5-3 in the first-set tiebreak before rattling off the final four points to win the set. The Greece native then sailed through the second set to move on in the clay-court event.
Tsitsipas will face Chile's Christian Garin in the semifinals. Garin rallied for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan.
Russia's Andrey Rublev and Norway's Casper Ruud will meet in the other semifinal.
The fifth-seeded Rublev recorded a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut, and Ruud beat France's Ugo Humbert 7-5, 3-6, 6-1.
