JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on all citizens on Friday to abide by COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, following the recent high increase in morbidity.

"Unfortunately, some citizens disrespect our guidelines ... Ask your family and friends to wear face masks and not to shake hands. Don't hug, don't congregate, save your lives," Netanyahu said in a Fackbook post.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) announced on Friday that the country's experts have determined the main cause of a recent "incident" at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility and will announce it at an "appropriate time."

Experts from different sectors started investigating "different hypotheses" about the "incident" at the Natanz site in central Iran immediately after its occurrence on Thursday, and have determined its main cause, SNSC spokesman Keyvan Khosravi was quoted as saying by Press TV.

ROME -- Italy has demonstrated strong cohesion in its social fabric during the coronavirus pandemic, the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) stated on Friday.

Despite the over 240,000 positive cases reported so far in the country and some 35,000 lives lost to COVID-19, Italy had been able to make the most of its resources throughout the emergency, according to ISTAT's annual report.

"Strong cohesion was the hallmark of the country during the lockdown," stated the report based on a survey in April.
