DUBAI, 1th March, 2016 (WAM) -- Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Anaesthesia Conference and Exhibition, in its 9th edition, will begin this Thursday, 3rd of March, at the Mohammed bin Rashid Academic Medical Centre, in Dubai Healthcare City. Held annually, Dubai Anaesthesia is considered the leading event of its kind in the MENA region. It attracts top-notch local and international speakers and professionals specialised in anaesthesiology and pain management.
This year, Dubai Anaesthesia Exhibition witnesses the participation of 60 companies to showcase the most updated medical devices, equipment and products in this field. Running parallel to the exhibition, the Dubai Anaesthesia Conference will cover a rich scientific agenda that includes 50 scientific lectures presented by over 40 prominent speakers from the region and the world. The conference agenda for this year includes several intensive scientific sessions and short presentations featuring novel researches of consultant doctors, anaesthesiologists, anaesthetists, and professors of anaesthesiology. More than 55 countries are represented in the leading Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management Event in the region.
Dr. Nicola Volpe, Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in Southmead Hospital, and a speaker at the conference, said, "During Dubai Anaesthesia, I will be discussing the support of blood circulation during anaesthesia in order to improve organ perfusion and consequently ensure the surgical success.
